This project is an intranet portal application, which finds the business problems and shows it on map and provides the solution. (Demo only, Not real image of app) It used Google map JavaScript API and ASP.NET MVC5 to build the application. It used Azure DevOps to plan, develop, and deploy the application. It includes developing and consuming ASP.NET CORE RESTful Web Service API using .NET.
The client: Global Affairs Canada
The problem: As Canada has real properties all over the world, a tool is needed to manage all the properties. It needs to be interactive, it should be able to show the location, the problem details and provide the proposed solutions.
The user: This application is an internal project, so the users will be the government employees.
Research: A brain storm has been conducted to provide the diverse solution idea.
Design Process: The app needs to locate the real properties, so we chose the Google map JavaScript API comparing to ArcGIS and others for it's simplicity and easy to implement. We also selected WET tool kit as our basic presentation template for its accessibility, usability, and responsive design.
Results: The app design has passed the process and approval for developing.
